Chief Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounting process.
• Produce errorfree accounting reports and present their results.
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
• Support monthend and yearend close process.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure AML compliance.
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT System and assist with tax audits and VAT and Corporate tax returns.
• Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process.
• Provide input into the department's goal setting process.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Plan, assign, and review staff's work.

Mandatory Requirements
-
Minimum 4 years' mandatory experience as an accountant in a UAE audit/ accounting firm handling multiple clients in different business setups.

• Extensive
  corporate and personal tax experience

  compliance management

• Must be
  professionally qualified.

Professional Skills

• Expertise working with Tally and Xero
• Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details
• Exceptional organizational skills and aptitude for numbers
• Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal.
• Managing all accounting activities of both financial and management accounting.
• Preparing financial and performance reports.
