    Job Title: Special Education Teacher

    We are seeking an experienced and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Special Education Teacher at Aldar Academies, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Teaching Individuals or Small Groups: Teach students with varying learning needs, using a range of strategies and resources to promote their academic and personal growth.
    • Lesson Planning and Preparation: Develop engaging lesson plans and resources that cater to individual students' needs, incorporating technology and multimedia resources where possible.
    • Adapted Teaching Methods: Utilize adapted teaching methods to meet the unique needs of students, including those with physical, sensory, or intellectual disabilities.
    • Collaboration with Colleagues: Work closely with classroom teachers and other support staff to identify student needs and develop strategies for effective inclusion.
    • Assessment and Record-Keeping: Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to regular review meetings.
    • Communication with Parents: Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and involving them in goal-setting and planning.
    • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties, such as updating student records and preparing reports.

    Requirements:

    • Qualifications: Bachelor of Education major in Special Education or equivalent qualification (BA/BSc accompanied by PGCE with a focus on Special Education).
    • Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with students with additional learning needs.
    • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build strong relationships with students and parents.
