Shuraays Business Setup LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Accountant to join our team.

As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and providing timely and reliable financial information to support business operations.

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and maintain financial records: Ensure accurate and uptodate recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Financial reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights to support decisionmaking.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, working closely with management to identify financial goals and monitor performance against targets.
  • Tax compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns. Assist in tax planning and optimization strategies.
  • Financial analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and cost analysis. Identify trends, opportunities, and risks to provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Audit support: Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process. Provide necessary documentation and respond to audit inquiries.
  • Internal controls: Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Cash management: Monitor cash flow, oversee banking activities, and optimize cash management processes.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams: Work closely with other departments, such as operations, sales, and procurement, to provide financial insights, support decisionmaking, and achieve business objectives.
  • Stay updated with financial regulations and best practices: Keep abreast of changes in accounting standards, taxation laws, and industry practices. Implement new financial policies and procedures as required.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are preferred.
  • Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role. Experience in a business setup or consulting firm is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills. Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
