Subcontract Manager - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - KBR, Inc.

Below is the JD:
• Responsible for themanagement and leadership of all pre and post subcontractingactivities including the oversight of all project and / orcorporate subcontracts engineers and/or quantity surveyors,ensuring an optimised working environmentupdate.

• Assess and owns the resourcingrequirements of both project and location subcontractingrequirements.

• Ensures the subcontractteams understanding of contractual requirements with regard toschedule obligations, notices, milestones, KPIs, progressmeasurement etc. Warrants that any necessary contractual noticesare served in accordance with the terms of the subcontract,including client approvals, reporting requirements, preparation andsubmission of variation and contract amendmentrequests.

• Ensure that technical andcommercial negotiation evaluations and strategies are carried outin a timely manner.

• Compiles tenderdocumentation, ensuring that the packages are complete and viable.Strategises and holds tender clarificationmeetings.

• Facilitates the flow ofinformation to and from tenderers. Issue tender bulletins andclarification documentation.

• Is ableto lead negotiations with third parties, ensuring business, projectand client obligations and deliverables are recognised, developingmitigating measures and managing commercialrisk

• With minimum supervision, is ableto draft and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, bonds,warranties, guarantees and thelike.

Qualifications:

•Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Law, Finance, Management,or Quantity Surveying (technology or equivalent) along withappropriate professional qualification(preferred)

• RICS, CICES, CIOBqualified or industry equivalent skills and training appropriatefor therole

Experience

•Experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical and renewable energyand energy transition contractingenvironments

• 5 + years'experience in a similar role with leadershipexperience

• A sound knowledge ofdifferent contracting strategies, the pros, and cons of differentapproaches

• Has a strong appreciationof industry recognised commercial and contractual terms andconditions.
