Job Summary

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION


This position will report to the Creative Director of
INK Advertising, Abu Dhabi, and will operate as part of the marketing department, performing duties for both
INK Advertising and our subsidiary brands when necessary.


As an
3D
exhibition designer (modeling and animation), you'll work on large commercial public exhibitions, showcase events, trade shows and conferences for trade, industry or education, or on cultural exhibitions for museums, libraries and galleries.

You might also work on temporary displays for businesses and retailers.

You'll be responsible for creating an exhibition that works on several levels


It must:
- have aesthetic appeal
- be practical
- communicate the client's message, concept and image to visitors
- meet the limitations imposed by space, time and budget.


You'll base your designs on your interpretation of the client's ideas and requirements and will also provide your own ideas in relation to product concept and customer appeal.


Responsibilities

In commercial exhibition work, you'll need to:

  • liaise with clients to discuss the brief (themes, ideas or products to be promoted) and come up with creative and innovative ideas
- discuss the brief and design concepts with the design team, finalise proposals and present these to clients
- develop a genuine understanding of the client's brand, products, needs and objectives, as well as the motivations behind customers' buying decisions
- create initial design sketches and computer-generated 2D and 3D visualisations, sometimes building models and prototypes
- produce accurate technical drawings for construction for different displays and exhibitions
- work on 3D animation presenation with 360 Videos

  • Be in charge for 3D modeling, lighting and texture
- attend regular meetings with the creative team to discuss progress
- meet with and brief suppliers and source products such as fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes and decoration
- handle production orders for materials and site services, e.g. electronics
- come up with creative alternatives in order to meet project deadlines and budgets
- travel to events to supervise work onsite
- look after clients on site
- transport displays to exhibition sites and install and dismantle exhibition displays
- ensure that project deadlines are met and that project briefs are delivered within budget and to the client's brief
- keep up to date with the latest design trends, programs and technologies.

Salary:
AED5, AED7,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Graphic Design and motion: 6 years (required)

Language:


  • Very good in English (preferred)
