Job DescriptionCNG Technician
Responsibilities
Carry out monthly preventive maintenance activities for compressor packages as per schedule.
• Involve in the commissioning & and operational activities of the compressor package.
• Carry out any jobs that need emergency rectification at the compressor package
(Mechanical & Electrical) and at the dispenser filling station.
• Attend all assigned breakdowns promptly, carry out necessary repair works and ensure that equipment is returned to service as soon as possible.
• Conduct a routine test for the intake system, air compressors, CNG compressor, electrical control, gas management panel, water cooling system and dispenser filling point.
• Preventive and corrective reports to be prepared and sent timely to the Maintenance Engineer.
• Rectify minor problems. In case of major problems, report to the Maintenance Engineer for advice.
• Inspect and monitor the CNG package for smooth operation.
• Should be aware of electrical, PLC, and instrumentation troubleshooting when necessary.
• Record parameters and other readings on daily basis.
• Contributes to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
• Respond to any direction provided by the Maintenance Engineer on the shift.
• Maintain proper housekeeping in compressor package.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in the maintenance department in the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of reviewing P&l and electrical drawings.
- Can work with a minimum of supervision and be able to manage his time when given multiple tasks.
- Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical or higher
- Should have a valid driving UAE driving License
