    Description

    Our client is lookingfor an experienced SAP Basis Administrator for a 3 to 6 monthscontract role in Lawrenceville, GA who will beresponsible for actively supporting and/or leading complex systemand infrastructure projects including the planning, management, andimplementation of the assigned projects across the Enterprise. Thisis a critical position for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)team. The ERP Basis Senior IT Systems Administrator contractorposition is responsible for administration, management,configuration, documentation, report writing, scripting and primaryend-user support of the SAP systems. This includes Basis supportfor; BW, CRM, ECC, SRM, SAP Business Objects, NetWeaver Portal, andother SAP systems.

    The position isalso responsible for planning, implementation and installation ofupgrades to these systems along experience with installation,patch, upgrade and support Oracle 10, 11g and 12c versions. Theposition will be required to provide project management and ensurethat the delivered solution matches the customer requirements. Theincumbent will also diagnose, resolve and document applicationproblems in a timely and accurate fashion, while ensuring minimaldowntime, and respond to system emergencies as required. Theincumbent will also be required to be on-call after hours, weekendsand holidays on a rotating schedule with other team members. Theincumbent will also be required to work with and mentor other ITSand departmental team members, and provide managers with systemstatus reports. The incumbent will also provide end userassistance, training and support asrequired.

    Skills:

    Bachelor sdegree in a relevant field, IT or equivalent combination ofeducation and work experience Strong skills and experience in issueresolution, influencing team members and other stakeholders,conducting difficult negotiations and managing to stringenttimelines for project deliverables Demonstrated superiorunderstanding of business and technology organization, resources,priorities, needs andpolicies

    Demonstratedtechnical leadership in the implementation of complexprojects

    Experience withthe Waterfall and Agile Software Development LifeCycle

    Ability tobring clarity to ambiguousassignments

    Demonstratedstrong verbal and written communicationskills

    Strong skillsin MS OfficeSuite

    Excellentclient-facing and internal communication skills, with Executivepresence to provide status updates and prepare thorough andpolished documentation for Executive levelreview.

    PreferredQualifications:

    7 years of SAPBasis Administration or related experience - database management,network administration, UNIX or AIX OS management or system backupmanagement with at least 3 years of SAP Basisexperience

    Experience withother SAP modules to include BW, CRM, ECC, SRM, Solution Manager,Business Objects V4.2 Administration and NetWeaverPortal.

    Stronginterpersonal, communication skills and end-user trainingexperience.

    5 yearsexperience with installation, patch, upgrade and support Oracle 10,11g and 12cversions

    7 years ofhands on experience in system administration, installation,upgrade, configuration and advancedtroubleshooting

    5 yearsexperience as a technical/functional lead including projectmanagement skills leading multiple projects to successful and ontimecompletion

    At least onecurrent SAPcertification

    Responsibilities:

    Applies varioustechnical disciplines such as process improvement, data analysis,and facilitation. Provides objective advice, expertise andspecialist support skills with the aim of creating value andmaximizing growth or improving the business performance of theirclients.

    ProvideBusiness Solutions through software and development, intranetportal development, maintenance and problem support of corebusiness systems for all SAPapplications.

    Ensuresprojects adhere to IT compliance procedures and validationrequirements.

    Follows ITChange Management processes and controls for allprojects.

    Leads teams ormultiple teams of internal and/or external resources on a projectbasis.

    Ensures thatbusiness cases are developed for budgeting, planning, and trackingexpense.

    Ensures thatproject activities are on a path to deliver benefitsrealization.

    Ensurescollaboration with key functional partners in the implementation ofinitiatives.

    Key contributorin developing financial realizationmeasures.

    Works closelywith and provides direction to technology leads to support projectneeds.

    Influences andleads large-scale change initiatives and plans and coordinatesclosely with function managers and subject matterexperts.

    Proactivelychallenge the performance of current systems and processes andidentifies risks and develops solutions and/or processes andensures necessary risk mitigation steps are built into theprocesses.

    Readilyrecognizes solution and determines at what point issues requireescalation tomanagement.
