    Description
    • Drive the development of newbakery, patisserie, and chocolate products and concepts across allcustomer segments.
    • Provide proactive technicalsupport to business development, including training salespeople anddemonstrators, conducting regular visits and presentations forcustomers, and maintaining strong commercial contacts with keyaccounts.
    • Offer R&D support toproduction, addressing technical and quality issues, managingobsolete stocks, and overseeing SKUmanagement.
    • Manage the R&D team bysetting clear objectives and priorities, coaching team members toachieve their goals, and overseeing activities in the testbakery.
    • Interact with regional teams and HQ toensure the local team is informed and trained on the latest Groupinnovations and technologies, actively promoting theirimplementation in the country.
    • Ensure theaccuracy and compliance of all technical data linked to products(data sheets, declarations, formulas) with foodlegislation.
    • Uphold confidentiality of formulasand protection of know-how in accordance with Group golden rules onknow-how protection and costmonitoring.
    • Provide operational support byselecting appropriate raw materials, defining production processes,and establishing quality criteria for raw materials and finishedproducts.
    • Analyze and report on product andprocess trends.
    • Manage laboratory assets andimplement best laboratory practices.
    • Definesuppliers and obtain necessary approvals forengagement.

    Profile

    • Minimum7 years of R&D experience, preferably within the bakingindustry and/or powdermixes.
    • Bachelor's degree in foodscience or a related field; Master's degreepreferred.
    • Fluent in English and Arabic; Frenchproficiency is advantageous.
    • Analytical withstrong communication and commercialskills.
    • Possesses a robust knowledge and/orinterest in food ingredients and theirapplications.
