- Design and optimize fire fighting systems to meet requirements and local regulations.
- Conduct site surveys and assess existing fire protection systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop engineering calculations and simulations to determine optimal system design and performance.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure fire protection systems are integrated effectively with other building systems.
- Review and approve design drawings and specifications for fire protection systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams during installation and commissioning of fire protection systems.
- Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire protection systems, including conducting root cause analyses.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fire protection technology to recommend innovative solutions.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Take initiative to improve underperforming projects in relation to operational activities, efficiency, processes, cost etc.
- Ensure implementation of processes and procedures that are cost efficient and with due regard for safety, quality and productivity.
- Carry out site inspections.
- Audit budgets submitted for projects.
- Audit site productivity and suggest ways to improve productivity.
