JOB TITLE:
CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE - EDUCATION

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Perform buying duties such as purchasing and procuring all local and international buying for both books/Non books.
  • Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
  • Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
  • Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential clients.
  • Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports, and price lists.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Performing inventory inspections through reports and physical stock checking, as necessary.
  • Assist in preparation of inventory report.
  • Accomplishes the result by performing the duty.
  • Updating and maintaining records and tracking of the orders.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Full Proficiency with Word and Excel formula utilizationincluding VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
  • Basic knowledge of Nielsen, Pubseasy, Gardners, Ingram and other publishers' websites.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, this includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Managing sales quotations and orders accurately in a timely manner.
  • A knowledge of accounting practices and calculations is preferable.
  • Working experience in any ERP system is preferable.
