Description
As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process from start to finish. Your primary focus will be on sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships with vendors.

You will work closely with various departments within the organization to ensure that the procurement activities align with business objectives and meet the needs of internal stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and determine the most suitable vendors for various goods and services.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline the procurement process, optimize costs, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best terms, prices, and conditions for goods and services while maintaining quality standards.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information, and following up on order fulfillment and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify their procurement needs, provide guidance on procurement best practices, and offer support throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Monitor supplier performance, conduct periodic evaluations, and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner to ensure a reliable and sustainable supply chain.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier contracts, pricing agreements, and relevant documentation, while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, tracking stock availability, and implementing inventory management strategies to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure proper budget allocation, cost control, and accurate financial reporting related to procurement activities.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, best practices, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for sourcing, purchasing, and contract management.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
AED3, AED4,000.00 per month
