We are seeking a skilled Chief Accountant to oversee and manage our financial operations.

As the Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.


Responsibilities:


  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop budgets and forecasts, monitor performance, and provide recommendations.
  • Financial Analysis: Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through analysis, supporting decisionmaking.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, coordinate filings, and liaise with external advisors.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise accounting staff, provide guidance, and support professional development.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate financial information and insights to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in the government sector.
  • Government sector experience is mandatory.
  • Highly preferred experience with Oracle.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and ERP systems.
