An Accounting Assistant
prepares budgets and records and sends invoices for services or products rendered by company employees that have been approved by management.

They handle cash transactions and perform other administrative duties as needed, such as making presentations about financial reports.

position involves receiving payments, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices in compliance with established policies and procedures to ensure payments are made and spending is controlled.


  • Ensure that inbound and outbound transactions are received and monitored on a daily basis.
  • Verify all invoices, both incoming and outgoing.
  • Contract and Invoice preparation and arrangement.
  • Assist clients in reconciling their account balances.
  • Ensure that the company's daily, monthly, and annual reports are prepared.
  • Provides support for all incoming and outgoing transactions.
  • Keep in touch with carriers and clients.
  • Records are maintained through filing, retrieval, retention, storage, compilation, coding, and updating.
  • Ensure that all invoice processing in the organization are timely, accurate, and complete Prepare VAT Returns.
Processing business expenses - Coordinating internal and external audits

  • Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies


  • Verifying bank deposits

  • Managing daytoday transactions
  • Recording office expenditures and ensuring these expenses are within the set budget
  • Assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements
  • Posting daily receipts.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification, data entry, and reconciliation.

  • Support the monthend and yearend closing activities, such as preparing journal entries and assisting in the preparation of financial statements
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks.
