    Job Title:
    Supervisor, Equipment CM


    Reports to:
    Manager, Facilities Maintenance


    Job Summary:


    Equipment supervisor provide direct management of all assigned Mechanic(s), Equipment; Mechanic(s), Hydraulic Repair; Mechanic(s), Electronics and Electricians in the Facilities Department.


    Responsibilities:
    Supervise all CM equipment maintenance services.
    Oversee quality maintenance repairs as part of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System program. Ensure that procedures and work instructions are followed at all times.
    Ensure that equipment that is identified as critical is maintained in accordance with the relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    Prepare and submit job plans and work standards for all CM work orders.
    Ensure the accuracy of all data entered into the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

    Ensure proper work is performed for a wide variety of industrial equipment by supervising all electrical, mechanical and hydraulic repairs, rebuilds, installations and modifications.

    Maintain adequate levels of spare parts at all times through appropriate planning and raising of the required purchase requests in the CMMS.

    Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect company/contract equipment, material and facilities.

    Ensure that company copies of all OEM manuals related to operation, maintenance and spare parts are available at all times by making sure that manuals are provided with new equipment at the time of acceptance.

    Ensure subcontractors comply to work standards by providing them a scope of work and then monitoring their on-site performance.
    Support the equipment condemnation process by providing the necessary documentation.
    Responsible for the performance and accountability of assigned employees.
    Ensure all issued tools, test equipment and high-value property is maintained in a serviceable condition, routinely inventoried and safeguarded.
    Conduct training for assigned employees as required.
    Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.
    Support other members of the Facilities Department in fulfilling their roles.
    Perform other duties as required by the Manager, Facilities.

    Qualifications:
    A Bachelor s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred. A technical diploma supported by relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
    A minimum of three years of experience performing facilities maintenance work is required.
    A minimum of two years of experience supervising and/or managing a team of maintenance personnel is preferred.
    Previous military experience is an advantage.
    Proficiency in drafting, planning, scheduling and work execution is required.
    Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office software and CMMS is preferred.
    The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
    Have, or be able to obtain a valid UAE light and/or heavy vehicle driver s license.
