    Job Summary

    The Faculty of Media and Public Relations at Liwa College is inviting applicants for one position of Assistant/Associate Professor in Communication (specialization in Public Relations and Advertising). The successful candidate is expected to start in September 2025 on the Abu Dhabi campus.

    Selected candidates will teach both theoretical and practical courses. The candidate must be highly self-motivated to achieve the mission of the Faculty of Media and Public Relations in the areas of teaching, research, and community/professional service.

    The successful candidates will:

    • Participate in teaching theoretical and practical courses in Public Relations and Advertising.
    • Teach other communication courses as per faculty needs.
    • Provide academic advising to students.
    • Perform college, community, and professional service.
    • Assist in the continued development and promotion of the Program.

    Candidates must possess a notable track record of teaching and scholarship. The successful candidate should show great research potential with promising working papers on track to publication in Scopus-indexed journals or Arcif-indexed Arabic journals. Existing publications in top-tier journals are a plus. The ability to use Artificial Intelligence applications in teaching is an advantage. In addition, proficiency in digital media tools and social media management is desirable.

    Requirements
    • A Ph.D. holder in Communication with a specialization in Public Relations and Advertising or Strategic Communication.
    • Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English
    • A minimum of three years' teaching experience in Public Relations and Advertising in an institution of higher learning.
