Your role
You will contribute to all Supply Chain activities, focus on production planning and future business as well as storage management.
Specific Responsibilities of the Production Planner:
- Implement MRP for supply chain activities including building structure.
- Create Manufacturing Shop Orders using MRP. Review and update all open shop orders as needed.
- Create Material Requisitions for Purchasing, including quantities and required dates.
- Manage that material is available in time for production.
- Storage management.
- Support manufacturing by creating production schedules.
- Collaborate with Supply chain and Engineering to coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Collaborate with cross functional groups including Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales and Engineering.
Specific Responsibilities of the Business:
- Translate operational business needs into analytics requirements and provide a structured approach to analysis.
- Provides analysis, related to business operations, productivity, performance, planning, work methods and procedures.
- Work with manufacturing and support teams to establish and improve processes.
- Keep design and building structure up to date according to pricing.
- Represent production in the sales and operational planning process.
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Supply Chain Planning, Master Scheduling, Inventory, and/or Operations Planning as well as Business Intelligence.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in scheduling manufacturing and production control techniques.
- Prefer experience with ERP systems and planning software.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Sound leadership qualities and demonstrated good judgment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office experience required.
- Understanding in ISO9001, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff and with other departments.
- You must be able to express yourself in English, both oral and in written word.
- Driver's license
