    Description


    Providing the preparation of assignedtechnical documentation (of varying technical complexity, dependingon the skills and experience acquired) for example, basic design ofelectrical systems (conversion, distribution, lighting andelectrical protection), measuring systems (fire and gas detection,communications, monitoring and regulation) and automatic controlsystems (in particular , but not limited to HVAC systems), inaddition to the technical management of service components andsystems for buildings under the supervision of a building designproject leader or building electrical and instrumentationspecialist, ensuring their quality on time and within the assignedbudget.

    Perform electrical, instrumentation and controlsystems design for civil and industrial buildings such as preparingspecifications and/or reports, performing calculations, technicalmanagement of supplies for assigned components and systems asdirected by persons with greater experience and coordination withother disciplines.

    Ensure the quality of thedocumentation produced and its compliance with contractrequirements for the assigned project(s) in accordance with theprogram, as well as company standards.

    Verify and commenton documentation produced by suppliers and contractors duringproject development.

    Interface with other disciplines tobenefit from useful information for the design of electrical,standard and control systems serving civil and industrial buildingsand cooperate in integrated and collaborative design activitiesbetween disciplines.

    Cooperation in the specificspecialty of integrated 3D modeling of the building developed usingthe BIM methodology.
    Participate in activities related toestimating quantities and works and preparing the necessarytechnical documents for both project acquisition and factoryimplementation.

    Assist the Building Design Project Leaderin preparing the technical documentation referred to in the requestfor materials related to electrical, measuring and instrumentationsystems according to project requirements.

    Follow up onthe development of related electrical and standard systemssupplies.

    Support, where required, estimating andestimating activities associated with electrical, measuring andinstrumentation systems for the remit of the Estimating andManaging Material and Work Quantities Group.

    Assistfunctions responsible for testing, construction and commissioningactivities, based on requests and projectneeds.

    Participate, alongside or temporarily replace thespecialist, in factory testing activities for electrical andstandard systems in close cooperation with the Test Department, andfor site installation, commissioning and acceptance testingactivities.
