As a Network Manager, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, designing the network infrastructure and network security within Farah.

And to ensure the network operations are safe and efficient by monitoring availability, performance and security of the network infrastructure.


Your job responsibilities will also include:

  • Establishing networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
  • The implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment.
  • Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with Infrastructure Manager on network optimization.
  • Undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.
  • Securing network system by establishing and enforcing hardening and security policies and defining and monitoring access.
  • Lead the planning and assessment of network and network security projects and lead or assist with project design/implementation phases.
  • The support and administration of network security environment including but not limited to, core and edge network, Firewall, Wi-Fi and network load balancers.
  • Upgrading data network equipment to latest stable firmware releases.
  • Manage vendor relationship and SLAs

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert in routing and switching, CCIE
  • 7+ years' experience of Managing Network Infrastructure and Operation
  • 2+ years' experience on software defined network
  • Solid understanding of all layers of the OSI model, LAN/WAN networks
  • Hands on experience and up to date skills with Cisco infrastructure is a must (routers, switches and firewalls)
  • Broad knowledge of IP stack and its protocols, routing (including OSPF and BGP), switching, IPSec, IPVPN, remote access, HTTP/HTTPS, vrflite
  • Hands on experience on managing wireless network
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP network routing and switching with an emphasis on datacenter security, virtualization and software defined network.
  • Advanced network troubleshooting knowledge and experience with packet capture tools and analysis.

Desirable:


  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert in Data centers
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert in Security
  • 3 years' experience of designing network and network security
  • 3 years' experience of implementing network and network security
  • Hands on experience on managing different vendor's network solution.
  • Hands on experience on managing different vendor's security solution.
