    Description
    As our Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our procurement process, from identifying and sourcing vendors to negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.

    You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization has all the necessary resources to operate efficiently and achieve our objectives. Your expertise in procurement and supply chain management will be invaluable in helping us maintain high standards of quality and cost-effectiveness.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and source potential suppliers for various goods and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining quality.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure the best possible prices and services for the organization.
    • Collaborate with different departments within the organization to understand their procurement needs and provide support in finding and selecting vendors.
    • Review and evaluate current procurement processes and make recommendations for improvements to increase efficiency and cost savings.
    • Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure timely and accurate procurement of goods and services.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
    • Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, new products, and potential suppliers.
    • Manage supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and ethical standards.

    Qualifications

    • At least 1-2years of experience in procurement, preferably in the education or consulting industry.
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
    • Proven track record of driving cost savings and improving procurement processes.
    • Proficient in using procurement software and systems, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
    • Knowledge of global procurement laws and regulations is preferred.
    • Professional certifications in procurement and supply chain management are a plus.
