Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks.
  • Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other cafe equipment with precision and care.
  • Take customer orders, process payments, and handle cash register operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized cafe environment, including cleaning equipment, countertops, and seating areas.
  • Restock coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies as needed.
  • Engage with customers, providing information about menu items and making recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist in creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for customers.
  • Collaborate with other baristas and cafe staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate to the manager if needed.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a barista or in a cafe/coffee shop environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
  • Ability to operate coffee machines and other cafe equipment.
  • Attention to detail and precision in crafting coffee beverages.
