Description

• Fabricates and repairs costumes,character/mascot and craft pieces
• Altersexisting costumes with high attention to detail and skilledcraftsmanship to ensure show/costumequality
• Works with costuming team on costumingdaily operations of the, including, but not limited to checking instaff, handing out daily assignments, answering radio calls fromgreen rooms and other duties as assigned bymanagement
• Participates in off-site or on-sitepublic relations events involving costumes andperformers
• Helps crew with daily laundry,including washing, hanging, ironing and steaming costume pieces asneeded
• Organizes weekly dry cleaning pick upand drop off and records items that have been taken and returned bythe dry cleaner
• Helps Costuming AssistantManager in maintaining accurate and up to date costumeinventory
• Keeps track of supplies and placesorders for replacement in a timelymanner
• Assists in a team leader capacity withother functions within entertainment whenrequired
• Attends department meetings asrequested
• Interfaces with all colleagues andoutside vendors in a professional and courteousmanner
• Assists with administrative tasks whenneeded
• Has the ability to carry and moverelatively heavy items
• Shares information andbest practices with othercolleagues
