    Position TypeNon-Management


    PositionSummary
    Serve food courses andalcoholic beverages to guests. Set tables according to type ofevent and service standards. Answer questions on menu selections.
    Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the lengthof wait, re-cook orders, and product availability. Communicateadditional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and specialrequests to the kitchen. Record transaction in MICROS system attime of order. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction witheach food course and/or beverages. Maintain cleanliness of workareas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day. Complete closingduties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
    Present physical and accurate check to guest and processpayment.


    Follow all company and safety andsecurity policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, andunsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training andcertifications.

    Ensure uniform and personal appearance are cleanand professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietaryinformation, and protect company assets.

    Welcome and acknowledgeall guests according to company standards, anticipate and addressguests' service needs, assist individuals withdisabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.

    Speakwith others using clear and professional language.

    Develop andmaintain positive working relationships with others, support teamto reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to theconcerns of other employees.

    Ensure adherence to qualityexpectations and standards. Read and visually verify information ina variety of formats (e.g., small print). Stand, sit, or walk foran extended period of time or for an entire work shift.

    Move, lift,carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50pounds with assistance.

    Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects ofvarying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eyecoordination. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces aswell as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead andbelow the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, andstooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested bySupervisors.
