- Coordinates action plans with designers when receiving electronic CAD files used to prepare and make revisions to the drawings
- Provides knowledge and experience of Building Information Modelling (BIM) to overview and interrogate design and construction drawings
- Checks all aspects of CAD drawings such as drafting standards
- Prepares design quantities, grades, elevations, maps, drawings, profiles, cross-sections, details and other design elements as needed
- Utilizes drafting, design and other applicable software for development of drawings, details, notes, quantities and cost estimates
- Determines design parameters that meet the criteria given in design manuals and standard drawings
- Imports and exports data between various sources.
