- Be fully familiar with contractrequirements, policies and procedures and ensure that requirementsrelated to Wood Madrid office operations areimplemented
- Maintain HSSE management systemdocumentation
- Perform risk analysis and HSSEassessment
- Promote HSSE culture in theworkplace
- Monitor and ensure compliance withlocal legal and statutory requirements related toHSSE
- Maintain complete records and reports ofHSSE management activities
- Plan and coordinatestaff education and training inHSSE
- Communicate health and safety actionplans, concerns and decisions to staff
- Conductsafety observations to identify unsafe behaviors or conditions toreduce losses or near-loss incidents and reinforce good safetybehavior
- Carry out periodic HSSE inspectionsand follow up on any deficienciesobserved
- Investigate and report any incidentthat requires such action. Monitoring the medical treatment of anyinjured person
- Implement proactive measures tostop accidents/incidents, unsafe behaviors/conditions and preventtheir recurrence through promotions, campaigns andtalks/training
- Manage necessary HSSE recordsand registers
- Serve as liaison with theproject-designated medical center on first aid and medicaltreatment.
- Participate in planning andexecution of emergency response exercises, inspection and update ofrelevant emergency responsedocumentation.
- Manage Business ActivitiesCoordination issues (Coordinación de ActividadesEmpresariales)
- Certified as a higher leveltechnician in Occupational Risk Prevention (técnico degrado superior de Prevención Riesgos Laborales) at aminimum with a specialty in occupational health &safety.
- Only people with a valid Spanish workpermit can be considered
- Emergency Response orinternational HSSE training and qualification will be considerd asadded value
