Description
MEP Coordinator

  • Understand building systems and coordinate relevant activities on the project HVAC, low voltage, motorized equipment, etc
  • Understand complete building systems scope including Bid Documents, VE, Addenda, owners equipment
  • Preparation and coordination of MEP drawings and MEP BIM models
  • Perform occasional BIM standards, template, and content library maintenance
  • Preparation of MEP Revit families
  • Coordinate and integrate the activities of all the project managers, project engineers and other support staff on the project
  • Obtain client's acceptance of the work, and signoff for the completed project

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering required.


Experience:


  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the Gulf region in coordinating MEP services
  • Proficiency in managing projects and maintenance of MEP services and district cooling
  • Knowledge of complete MEP services starting from design, construction to handover
  • Knowledge of the engineering principles and practices along with standards, codes, and regulations
  • Knowledge of modern equipment, methods, and techniques of design, construction, installation, and commissioning
  • Strong knowledge of local regulations and international standards related to MEP systems, local building codes, standards, inspection and investigation techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • MEP Coordinator: 5 years (preferred)
