Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vendor Acquisition Manager to join our team in one of our clients e-commerce app team, specializing in Emirates locals fashion.

As a Vendor Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and onboarding local fashion vendors, building strong partnerships, and expanding our product offerings.

Your primary goal will be to curate an exceptional selection of Emirates locals fashion brands, ensuring a diverse and compelling assortment for our customers.

Responsibilities:


Vendor Sourcing and Selection:
Identify, evaluate, and onboard local fashion vendors that align with our brand strategy and target market.

Relationship Building:
Establish and nurture relationships with vendors, negotiate favorable terms, and secure partnerships to expand our product catalog.

Market Research:

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential vendors, and new product opportunities in the Emirates locals fashion industry.

Vendor Performance Analysis:

Monitor vendor performance, track sales data, and analyze key metrics to optimize vendor performance and ensure alignment with business goals.

Assortment Curation:

Work closely with the merchandising team to curate a diverse and compelling assortment of Emirates locals fashion brands, ensuring a unique and high-quality selection for our customers.

Contract Negotiation:
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Vendor Support:
Provide ongoing support to vendors, address inquiries or concerns, and facilitate effective communication between vendors and internal teams.

Competitive Analysis:

Stay informed about competitors' offerings and strategies, identify areas for differentiation, and recommend strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Performance Reporting:
Generate regular reports on vendor performance, sales trends, and key insights to the management team.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and technology teams to ensure seamless onboarding and integration of new vendors.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant certifications or additional education in fashion management is a plus.
• Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, or similar roles within the fashion industry.
• Deep understanding of the Emirates locals fashion market, including local fashion trends, designers, and brands.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends to drive business decisions.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality, ensuring that vendors meet our brand standards.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and marketplace dynamics.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic or any other local languages is a plus.

Pay:
AED5, AED12,000.00 per month

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
