Description
The Operations Executive - Construction is instrumental in guaranteeing the smooth and effective completion of construction projects. Their responsibilities encompass managing resources, coordinating activities, maintaining quality standards, and minimizing risks. They oversee all project phases, from inception to conclusion, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality delivery within budget. Additionally, they supervise on-site operations, manage resources, ensure safety and quality, and foster communication among stakeholders. Their hands-on leadership, coupled with meticulous attention to detail, are vital for project success.


Project Planning:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, engineers, and clients to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Identify key milestones and critical path activities to ensure timely completion of the project.

Resource Management:


  • Ensure necessary resources such as labor, materials, equipment, and machinery are effectively utilized to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Procure necessary materials and equipment, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery to the construction site.
  • Monitor resource usage and optimize allocation to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

Supervision:


  • Oversee daytoday activities on the construction site, coordinate with subcontractors and construction teams, monitor progress, and resolve issues.
  • Monitor work progress, productivity, and quality to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections to assess workmanship, safety practices, and compliance with building codes.

Safety Management:


  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for workers to promote awareness and adherence to safety standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards or risks on the construction site.

Coordination:


  • Facilitate communication and coordination between different teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain alignment and smooth operations.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, identify critical path activities, and proactively address potential delays.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of tasks.

Quality Control:


  • Implement quality control measures to ensure construction work meets specified standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify defects and deviations from plans.
  • Address quality issues promptly and ensure compliance with standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk Management:


  • Identify potential risks associated with the project and implement measures to mitigate them.
  • Develop risk management plans and strategies to minimize risks and ensure project success.
  • Monitor and assess risk factors throughout the project lifecycle, adjusting plans as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:


  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including schedules, budgets, contracts, and reports.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for stakeholders, management, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure all project documentation is organized, uptodate, and accessible.

Client Communication:


  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing concerns or inquiries.
  • Collaborate with clients to resolve issues and ensure project deliverables meet their expectations.

Problem-solving:


  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction to keep the project on track.
  • Seek input from stakeholders when necessary to resolve complex issues or make critical decisions.
  • Oversee the completion of final inspections and address any outstanding issues to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Any other responsibilities will be assigned to you by management.

Requirement:
At least bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.


At least 4 years of experience in the construction site and must know all the rules and regulations in UAE.

Strong experience in monitor manpower, project management, and good communication skills are required.


Salary:
AED6, AED8,000.00 per month
