- Conduct routine maintenance onmachinery and equipment to ensure they are functioning at optimallevels
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanicalissues and determine the best course of action forrepairs
- Repair and replace defective partsusing hand and power tools, as well as specializedequipment
- Conduct tests to ensure repairs havebeen successful and equipment is functioningproperly
- Keep detailed records of allmaintenance and repairs performed onmachinery
- Perform preventative maintenancetasks to avoid future breakdowns and prolong the life ofmachinery
- Act as a resource for fellow teammembers in regards to mechanical issues and repairs
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience ina similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or productionenvironment
- Strong mechanical aptitude andability to read and understand technical manuals anddiagrams
- Knowledge of electrical and hydraulicsystems is a plus
- Ability to work independentlyand in a team environment with a sense ofurgency
- Excellent problem-solving skills andattention to detail
- Physically fit and able tolift heavy objects and work in confinedspaces
- Flexibility to work occasional overtimeand on-call shifts as needed
