    • Answer telephone within 3 rings,using correct salutations and telephoneetiquette.
    • Take record and confirm restaurantreservations / cancellations in accordance with departmentalstandards.
    • Communicate reservation orcancellation changes to management as they arise throughout theshift.
    • Monitor the preparation of ownassignments, ensuring compliance to departmentalstandards.
    • Ensure that all menu's,check folders are cleaned and in sufficientquantity.
    • Ensure that the hostess stand iscleaned and organized.
    • Review the Reservationbook, pre-assign designated tables and follow up on all specialrequests.
    • Greet the guests at the entrance ofthe restaurant.
    • Seat Guest accordingly to floorplan / being fair to each waiter.
    • Show gueststheir table which has been designated tothem
    • Ensure that the guests are pleased withtheir table.
    • Present the open menu to theguest.
    • Ensure that the tables are set to thebest service of the guest.
    • Anticipate heavybusiness times and organize procedures to handle waitinglines.
    • Anticipate guests needs, respond to thempromptly and acknowledge guest, however busy and whatever time ofthe day.
    • Maintain positive guest relations atall times.
    • Be familiar with hotel services /activities to respond to guest inquiriesaccurately.
    • Handle guest complaints followinginstant pacification procedures and insuring guestsatisfaction.
