We are currently seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to join our team and oversee on-ground installations and setup safety during our events.

The Safety Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel involved in event setup and execution, as well as maintaining compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments for each event setup, identifying potential hazards and implementing appropriate safety measures.
• Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans and protocols for event installations and setups.
• Provide safety training and briefings to all staff and contractors involved in event setup, emphasizing best practices and emergency procedures.
• Monitor onground activities during event setup to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of event venues and installations to identify and address any safety concerns or hazards.
• Investigate and report any safety incidents or near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain uptodate knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments, contractors, and external stakeholders to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role, preferably in the events or construction industry.
• Familiarity with UAE safety regulations and standards, particularly those related to event management.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and hazard identification techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate staff.
• Detailoriented with strong organizational and problemsolving abilities.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
