About the Team
The GlobalProcurement Team plays a critical role in the business and isresponsible for the strategy design and endtoend processes involvedin the purchase of goods and services in a sustainable andfinancially viable way in compliance with business standards.

The Global Procurement Team is responsible forsourcing and onboarding of new vendors supporting the developmentof key company systems and processes maintaining a strategicoverview of project procurement management activities and ensuringthat purchasing contracts and arrangements are fulfilled in strictaccordance with legal requirements project requirements andbusiness policies and procedures.

This is anexciting opportunity to take a key role within a growing regionalProcurement function and in the context of a fastpaced environmentin the tech/social media sector. All the Global Procurement Teamand associated Centre of Excellence will support the onboarding ofthis new role and share best practices procurement strategiesinsights on compliance to deliver collectively as one team.

The Procurement function at TikTok keepsdeveloping and we regularly meet for workshops and trainings toshare cross teams cross countries and have full alignment as oneteam.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for METAP and other regional catering serviceprocurement projects including but not limited to employee canteenoperation service outsourcing snacks event meal pantry designkitchen equipment and other various catering solutions. Responsiblefor vendor qualification selection contract negotiation vendormanagement supplier daily operation management PO processing& payment coordination and other SourcingtoPay procurementsupport.
• Indepth understanding of marketdynamics and regional logistics teams requirement. Provide timelyand costeffective solutions with good service level.
• Continuously improve supplier sourcing selectionevaluation bidding management and elimination mechanisms to ensurethe establishment of a competitive and highquality supplier poolthat meets the Corporates pace of development.
• Align with the Corporates overall procurement strategyand catering category strategy and deploy these strategies toprocurement practices. Feedback the industry/legal norms and otherspecial requirements to Corporate for various strategiesoptimisation.
• Work closely and efficientlywith internal and external stakeholders maintain good relationshipand ensure that internal stakeholders could be responded to in atimely manner and exceed their expectations.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree orabove.
• More than five years of procurementexperience with three years of experience sourcing in relatedcategories or indirect sourcing experience.
• Excellent procurement professional knowledge andcommunication skills (procurement strategy project managementnegotiation and contract cost control supplier managementprocurement process management etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional level language proficiency inArabic.
• Experience in hightech leadingcompanies with a global background.
• Experienceand resources in indirect sourcing in overseas cateringindustries.
• Those who have obtainedprofessional certificates such as PMP CIPS and CPSM arepreferred.
