    Description

    Job Title: Assistant Learning & Quality Manager

    As Assistant Learning & Quality Manager, you will be responsible for managing the hotel's training functions, including developing qualified departmental trainers and establishing a system for generating training data and evaluating results. The Learning & Quality position impacts the skills, knowledge, and attitudes of every hotel employee and ensures the availability and effective use of resources.

    Main Responsibilities

    1. Establish and promote high leadership standards through training, seminars, and resources.
    2. Attend key service points to assess and audit service standards, conduct spot training, and support department heads in understanding challenges and opportunities.
    3. Create a departmental trainer platform to enhance training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
    4. Model company values and brand service behaviors, driving culture through training programs.
    5. Assist colleagues in identifying and developing personal strengths to achieve personal and company goals.
    6. Manage intern onboarding and provide learning support, ensuring they are well-treated and developed.
    7. Build a talent pool of high potentials through annual performance appraisals and develop succession plans with department heads.
    8. Educate staff on brand standards and ensure departmental compliance with training related to standards.
    9. Develop innovative methods to inspire and motivate staff to deliver unique guest experiences.
    10. Stay updated on market trends and local changes impacting guest satisfaction, sharing relevant training materials.
    11. Participate in the Quality & Continuous Improvement Team, maintaining hotel quality and brand standards through training, awareness, and audits.
    12. Conduct Training Needs Analysis to establish core competencies and develop training programs for all development needs.
    13. Network with other L&D professionals to adopt best practices and introduce innovative business strategies.
    14. Oversee daily L&D operations, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with mandatory training and assessments.
    15. Support and foster a learning culture within the hotel.

    Candidate Requirements

    1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within an international hotel.
    2. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hotel Administration, or equivalent.
    3. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
    4. Certification in train-the-trainer is preferred.
