The role will spearhead the strategic development and execution of Radiology services across the NMC Group in UAE, Oman and Qatar.

The role demands a proactive approach to centralization and standardization of radiology services across the group to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and ensure the uniform delivery of radiology services across NMC's network of hospitals and clinics.

This role is instrumental in aligning radiology services with the broader clinical goals, focusing on clinical outcomes, patient experiences, and turnaround times.

The radiology services should support the NMC vision of integrated care and thrive to provide services throughout the continuum of care.


Strategic Leadership and Operational Excellence:


  • Develop and implement a visionary strategy for centralizing and standardizing radiology services, aligning with NMC's overall clinical strategy.
  • Drive infrastructure and technological advancements and establish standardized workflows to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Lead the integration of innovative technologies, centralize the radiology
information systems and optimize operational processes.

  • Implement strategic initiatives for improving patient experiences and workforce optimization models.
  • Strategically drive quality assurance measures and pursue accreditation to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders both external and internal, including Corporate Leadership, Business General Managers, Regional SVPs and Medical Directors to design and implement programs and services to address the needs of the clinical services for NMC.
  • Assess and adapt to the evolving healthcare landscape in the UAE, ensuring the responsiveness of radiology services to regional healthcare needs and trends.
  • Ensure the daytoday services consistently maintain high quality and standards. Develop and define key performance indicators for the performance of the physicians across all specialties within the radiology services.

Quality Control and Business Growth:


  • Uphold stringent quality control measures and ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
  • Optimize cost structures and identify revenueenhancing opportunities for financial sustainability.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to enhance radiology accuracy and reliability. Stay informed about radiology medicine advancements, incorporating best practices and technological innovations.

Stakeholder engagement and reporting:


  • Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including the Group Chief Clinical Officer, to ensure radiology strategies are cohesive and support overall clinical objectives.
  • Report regularly on radiology performance metrics, challenges, and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate measurement and reporting of all KPIs.
  • Engage with radiology staff and conduct annual performance assessments.

Education and Certification

  • Medical Doctor or equivalent degree with specialization in Radiology.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, finance/accounting, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree with extensive experience may also be considered.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution, financial management, and operational improvement in radiology services.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a complex, fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and needs in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to effectively operate in a fast paced, multicultural, multistakeholder large corporate environment.
  • Healthcare industry experience is essential.

Experience

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in clinical radiology settings, demonstrating a profound understanding of radiology operations and management.
  • Proven leadership experience in overseeing radiology services across a network of healthcare facilities.
