Responsibilities

• Initiate the site specific QMSdocuments at contract kick-off stage, in line with the templatesfor the EP business
• Specifically take ownershipand accountability for the prepare the project specific Qualityplan and the ITP paperwork for theproject
• Induct and carry out familiarisationsessions with the blue-collar workers in the quality controlcriteria for the project and what standards need to beachieved
• Undertake daily surveillance of thework and check that it meets the tolerances allowed for within thestandard and the QMS documents.
• Complete thenecessary forms that demonstrate quality checks have been undertake(Quality control surveillances)
• Raise NDTrequests
• Coordinate NDTcontractor
• Expedite NDTreports
• Update weldmaps
• Update weld inspectionrecords
• Update ITP's and qualityLTR's
• Ensure that welder IDs aremarked up on the site and on the weldmaps
• Undertake dim checks during the works(roundness, diameter, flatness, verticality, plumbness,orientation, nozzle positions, levels etc etc) in accordance withthe drawings and code criteria
• Progressivelydevelop project handover documentation
• Liaisewith Customers representatives in all matters relating toquality
• Carry out supplier QC inspections(painters, insulators, NDTcontractor)
• Inspection of goods, materials andmaterial certificates
• Weekly welder/weldingaudits
• Monthly dashboard recording KPIinformation and report/issue to client and seniormanagement
• Management of technical queriesissue and close out
• Ensure welding andmeasurement equipment is calibrated and fit foruse
• Quality toolboxtalks
• Identify appropriate WPS for offsite& onsite fabrication
• Consumablestorage, selection and control

Qualifications

• CSWIP3.1
• Radiographic interpretation PCNlevel
• Technically qualified / time servedtrades person with trade registrations / vocational qualifications(preferably welding or plating)
• Has QCinspection experience
• Can readmechanical/structural engineeringdrawings
• Computer literate (MS officecomponents
• PEDexperience
