    • Two Publications registered in ScopusDatabase or Scholarly Publications
    • SkillsRequired: Solid knowledge and expertise in their field ofstudy
    • Proficiency in Information Technology andLearning Management Systems (LMS)
    • Able toprepare well-structured and balanced teaching materials that arealigned to learning outcomes
    • Able to contributeto Curriculum Development and improvement
    • Awareof current research and scientific knowledge in their field ofstudy
    • Knowledge and skills related toenvironment, health and safety in theworkplace
    • Where applicable competency in usinglab equipment and in conducting labsessions

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS

    • Complywith EHS Policies, Programs and Procedures as per IAT/ADVETIEHSMS-General Framework and take responsibility for any aspect ofEHS that they are involved in
    • Conduct lectures,tutorials, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, studentfield excursions, and clinical sessions
    • Developand update subject material
    • Develop and deliverdifferent teaching approaches and models including, but not limitedto, e-learning, student-centered education, blended education,flipped lecture model, individualizedlearning
    • Act as subject/coursecoordinators
    • Conduct and supervise research andscholarly activities
    • Undertake research alignedto their expertise, entity research focus and/or major researchpriorities of the UAE
    • Align undergraduatecapstone and graduate projects with career, problem basedindustrial projects and patentable ideas
    • Engagein scholarly activities, innovation, and submission of grantapplications to support researchgoals
    • Participate in professional activitiessuch as training, conferences, workshops,etc.
    • Organise events and community servicessuch as exhibitions, conferences, competitions, workshops andtraining sessions
    • Develop assessment tools,grading rubrics, and outcome assessment
    • Adviseand mentor students
    • Undertake administrativefunctions connected to academic outcome reporting, course filingand archiving, course surveys and feedback, grade book, ande-assessments
    • Participate in internal andexternal committees
    • Participate in committeesfor strategy and policy development
    • Provideconsultation services
    • Conduct any other tasksassigned by the line manager
