Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, evaluating suppliers, and negotiating contracts.
Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of steel structure fabrication and welding products.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Leverage market knowledge and vendor leads to identify new suppliers and negotiate favourable terms.
Conduct cost analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure competitive pricing.
Utilize excellent negotiation skills to secure advantageous terms and agreements with suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve cost reductions while maintaining quality standards.
Continuously evaluate vendor performance and compliance with contractual terms.
Address any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments.
Analyse market data to make informed procurement decisions.
Maintain accurate and organized procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor records.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of procurement experience, with a focus on steel structure fabrication and welding products.
Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Strong market knowledge and a network of vendor leads.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to cost-effective procurement.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
