- Prepares high-quality food itemsaccording to standardized recipes and instructions to meetproduction, delivery and serviceschedules.
- Serves meals or prepares fordelivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards,ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractiveand tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.
- Usesestablished ticket collection procedures during service.Responsible for records from area worked during serviceperiods.
- Cleans kitchen after preparation andserving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores ordiscards excess food in accordance with safe food-handlingprocedures.
- Keeps refrigerators and storeroomsclean and neat. Ensures food and supply items are stored perstandards.
- Operates and maintains kitchenequipment as instructed.
- Assists in productionplanning, record keeping and reporting asrequired.
- Assists in the ordering and receivingof all food and supplies as required.
- Reportsneeded maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisorimmediately.
- Attends in-service and safetymeetings.
- Maintains good working relationshipswith coworkers, customers, administrators andmanagers.
- Performs job safely while maintaininga clean, safe work environment.
- Performs otherduties as assigned.
