    Summary:Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal,state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations withestablished policies and procedures. Ensures quality food serviceis provided at alltimes.

    Essential Duties andResponsibilities:

    • Prepares high-quality food itemsaccording to standardized recipes and instructions to meetproduction, delivery and serviceschedules.
    • Serves meals or prepares fordelivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards,ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractiveand tasty. Tastes all prepared food items.
    • Usesestablished ticket collection procedures during service.Responsible for records from area worked during serviceperiods.
    • Cleans kitchen after preparation andserving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores ordiscards excess food in accordance with safe food-handlingprocedures.
    • Keeps refrigerators and storeroomsclean and neat. Ensures food and supply items are stored perstandards.
    • Operates and maintains kitchenequipment as instructed.
    • Assists in productionplanning, record keeping and reporting asrequired.
    • Assists in the ordering and receivingof all food and supplies as required.
    • Reportsneeded maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisorimmediately.
    • Attends in-service and safetymeetings.
    • Maintains good working relationshipswith coworkers, customers, administrators andmanagers.
    • Performs job safely while maintaininga clean, safe work environment.
    • Performs otherduties as assigned.
