    Job specifications

    • Tender Bids / Named Accounts / Regular Rate Requests
    • Liaise with BDP Regional tender team on the tender bids received on the strategies involved.
    • Work with local carriers on the tender bid/NAC/rate request(s) if required
    • Liaise with relationship holder(s) and carrier(s) for Named Accounts received directly via mail
    • Provide recommended selling costs to relationship holder(s)
    • Follow up on Rate Requests with Lost Reason "Rates too high"
    • Uploading Rates from Carrier in to our local system to have more visibility or rates options.
    • Working with Core carriers and moving high volumes with them
    • Mediator between TRAC/GSC and Pricing teams
    • Monitor the accuracy of the contract uploaded by GSC
    • Provide advice/verification to GSC if required
    • Market Updates
    • Perform analysis on market trend to regional procurement team
    • Send market updates from carriers to Sales team if required
    • Trend export rates for means to forecast for longer validity
    • Liaise with Internal Stakeholders
    • Work with APAC, North America and Europe regional procurement and pricing teams to put forward the best pricing solutions for each and new business opportunity.
    • Offer rates, alternative solution(s) and working towards problem solving approach
    • Identify doubts and bridge differences on understanding and expectation(s)
    • Provide timely response to enquiries
    • Provide verifications on charges and rate discrepancies
    • Request regional support for alternative solutions
    • To intervene in operational issues whenever required
    • Liaise with External Stakeholders
    • Liaise with carriers to resolve operational issues including but not limited to rate disputes, space requests and etc.
      • Request for rates for Tender Bids/NACs/Requests with target rates
      • Request for monthly lifting report, if not already provided for by carrier(s)
    • Report Analysis
    • Tally lifting reports between Cyberlog and carriers' lifting
    • Provide carriers with volume forecasts for NACs
    • Analyze lifting reports for NACs and the forecast provided earlier
    • Any other tasks assigned

    Job Requirements

    • Prefer at least 6-7 years of experience handling import/export trafficking functions with a freight forwarder/Pricing background
    • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
    • Good communication and organization skills and a strong attention to detail are required.
    • The ability to work on a team and leadership experience is strongly desired.
    • Candidate should have the ability to learn various computer programs.
