- Analyzing and evaluating pricingand costing systems of the goods and services of the healthcareorganization.
- Responsible for financialreporting and providing financial support for various departments.The value of services in healthcare organizations determines thevalue of the services that flow through healthcare supplychains.
- Responsible for business planning,preparing, variance analysis, coordinating the budget withmanagement, and performing revisions or simulations if needed.Participating in quarterly and annualbudgets.

- Developing policies andprocedures to ensure effective and efficient costing &financial management.

- Responsible forimplementing Activity-based costing (ABC), which breaksorganizational resource use down by patient, provider, serviceline, diagnosis-related group, or other relevant categories.Provide a more accurate and granular view of the costs of eachservice or product used in patientcare.
- Estimating the total cost of eachclinical department, the cost report uses traditional costingmethods to allocate overhead costs to clinical departments,allowing hospitals to estimate the total cost ofeach.
- Engaging physicians who can increasephysician engagement to advance their cost accountingapproach.
- Reviewing contracts, financialreporting, analysis, budgeting, and compensationevaluation.
