- Capable of reading blueprints anddrawings and taking measurements to plan the layout andprocedures.
- Proficient in making plate or pipewelds of any size on all base material, all thickness and pipediameter of any size and all position.
- Capableof selecting the appropriate tools, materials, and gas ratios asper the different requirements.
- Preparingmetals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effectiveassemblage.
- Competent in preparing both metalsand work surfaces for the relevant productionprocess.
- Competent in measuring, cutting, anddrilling materials to meet the specifications of theproject.
- Testing the strength of each joinduring and after project completion.
- Diagnosingissues and troubleshooting asrequired.
- Measure, cut, gouge, install,& manipulate stainless steel fabrication and install asrequired.
- Maintain equipment, supplies,materials, & deadlines throughout theproject.
- Determine the appropriate weldingequipment or method based on requirements.
- Setup components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cutmaterial with powered saws to matchmeasurements).
