- Effectively handle guest complaints
- Assist with rostering, taking into consideration forecast, wage cost, staff requests etc
- Ensure staffing levels are adequate for the next service period, making adjustments to the roster where necessary
- Ensure there is enough mis en place for service
- Ensure beverage cost is maintained to budget
- Report any shortages in equipment to the manager
- Conduct staff training including induction, product knowledge etc
- Counsel staff if not performing to the Outlet's standards
- Attend and actively participate in necessary meetings
- Be able to take charge of the outlet/area in the absence of the Manager
- Daily stock ordering
- Flexibility to work in all F&B areas
- Previous experience with senior responsibilities in Food & Beverage Service.
- Strong leadership skills
- Effective time management, communication and problem solving skills
- Flexible to work early or late shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Capacity to work well under pressure.
