Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and promptly.
- Help with bank reconciliations and monthend closing procedures.
- Support payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accounting documents and records, ensuring proper filing.
- Assist in analyzing financial data and identifying trends and discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ind/Bengali preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.
- Experience in Quickbooks Online and Zoho Books is preferred
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role preferred but not required.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
