Business Development Manager - Project Management Turnkey and Retail Design/Fitout

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive growth and expansion in the project management turnkey and retail design/fitout sector.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, client prospecting, and networking.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, architects, and consultants.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution, from initial concept to final delivery, meeting client expectations and deadlines.
Lead the tendering process, including bid preparation, submission, and negotiation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.
Provide timely and accurate reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and market trends to senior management.
Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and enhance business relationships.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher from a Western educational institution.

8 to 12 years of progressive experience in business development, project management, or related roles within the turnkey and retail design/fitout industry.

Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
Strong knowledge of working on tenders, including bid management and contract negotiations.
Extensive network and established relationships with contractors, developers, and other stakeholders in the industry.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences.
Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach to problem-solving.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
