JESS is a well-established, high performing 'not for profit' school. We have the following position available within our Primary school based in Arabian Ranches for August 2024.

Higher Level Learning Support Assistant

The successful applicant will:
- demonstrate the flexibility and confidence to cover teacher absence throughout the school both at short and pre-planned notice, ensuring a consistency in learning for all pupils
- demonstrate an ability to work effectively with whole classes, small groups and individual pupils
- demonstrate sufficient knowledge, expertise and awareness of the primary curriculum to work effectively with teachers as part of a professional team
- be able to use information and communication technology (ICT) to advance pupils' learning and use common ICT tools for their own and pupils' benefit
- to enjoy the challenge and be able to commit enthusiastically to meet the needs of all learners
- be a flexible team player with a keen interest in learning and teaching
- have extensive, recent classroom experience
- maintain a positive attitude and work co-operatively across a range of teams at all times
- exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written and able to work positively and effectively with colleagues
- be qualified for this role, holding a minimum of Cache Level 3 or equivalent. Teaching qualifications are an advantage
- contribute positively to all aspects of school life
- be under spouse sponsorship
