    Description
    • Ensure the effectiveimplementation of all operational security procedures within thehotel.
    • Management and security oversight of allcontractors, suppliers or vendors working onproperty.
    • To maintain a close dialogue andrelationship with local securityauthorities.
    • Ensure that security officersprovide a courteous and professional service to all customers,staff, vendors and suppliers.
    • To monitor thecar-park system and ensure its smooth running andsecurity.
    • To vet the daily functions and VIParrival list and to ensure that security officers are deployed asappropriate.
    • To account for the master keys ofthe property and their movements as well as key control ingeneral.
    • To keep the hotel senior managementinformed on all matters relating to the Security aspects of thehotel on a daily basis.
    • Review and suggestadjustment to process based on current/futureenvironments.
    • Incident/EmergencyHandling
    • Incidents and Emergencies areemotionally charged situation, particularly when there areallegations of theft. All guests, staff or other people involvedmust be dealt with sensitively and professionally so as not toinflame the situation.
    • To professionallyconduct full inquiries and follow-up activities for all securityrelated incidents.
    • As required, to carry outformal searches on employees, locker rooms and place of work asdirected by hotel management, with the presence of People andCulture as a witness. All people interviewed or searched are to bepresumed innocent unless proven guilty.
    • Toorganize the Security Fire Fighting Team in the event of anemergency.
    • EmployeeManagement
    • To guide, supervise and motivate theperformance of all security personnel.
    • To planand carry out regular training for security personnel, involvingother managers of the hotel as required.
    • Briefthe Security Officers daily on duties required of them. Ensure thatall Security staffs are at area of their assignment and are havethe information and equipment required to do their jobs

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years of relevantworking experience in 5-star luxury hotels andresort.
    • Computer literate, with high competencylevel in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, as aminimum).
    • Strong leadership skills and provenexperience in staff development.
    • Excellentinvestigative and report writingskills..
