Are you a dynamic, detail-orientedindividual with a knack for production planning and scheduling?We're seeking a Permanent Planner/Scheduler to join ourteam in the Manufacturing industry. This position is integral toensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, and thesuccessful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinatingmanpower, materials, and resources to meet our productiongoals.

Responsibilities

Asa Permanent Planner/Scheduler, your primary responsibilities willinclude

• Developing andmaintaining a detailed production schedule that aligns with companyobjectives and customer demand. This involves coordinating withvarious departments, including sales, production, andlogistics.
• Utilizing our ERP system to trackand analyze production data, including material availability,capacity utilization, and production efficiency. This informationwill be used to make informed decisions regarding productionplanning and scheduling.
• Managing manpowerscheduling to ensure optimal utilization of resources. Thisinvolves coordinating with HR and production managers to alignstaff availability with productionneeds.
• Overseeing material planning to ensurethe timely availability of necessary materials for production. Thisinvolves coordinating with suppliers and maintaining an up-to-dateunderstanding of material leadtimes.
• Continuously monitoring the productionschedule and making necessary adjustments to address any issuesthat arise, such as equipment breakdowns or materialshortages.
• Providing regular reports onproduction performance, highlighting any areas of concern andproposing solutions to improve efficiency andeffectiveness.
  

Qualifications

Theideal candidate for this role will have

• A minimum of 3 years'experience in production planning and scheduling, preferably withinthe Manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledgeand experience with ERP systems, and the ability to leverage thistechnology to enhance production planning andscheduling.
• Proven ability to effectivelymanage manpower scheduling, ensuring the optimal utilization ofresources.
• Experience in material planning,with a solid understanding of material lead times and the abilityto coordinate effectively withsuppliers.
• Excellent analytical skills, withthe ability to interpret complex production data and make informeddecisions.
• Exceptional communication andcoordination skills, with the ability to work effectively withvarious departments and stakeholders.
• Aproactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability toanticipate potential issues and develop effectivesolutions.
• A degree in Business, OperationsManagement, or a related field would beadvantageous.
