Description
JOB KEYACCOUNTABILITIES:
1-Effectively,lead and manage scheduled audits by the department'saudit methodology and guidelines for the entire audit cycle(planning, fieldwork, and reporting). Can be assigned as an auditor(part of the audit team) for coaching other teammembers.
2-As assigned, will perform the role ofAudit Reviewer on several engagements to ensure audits (asmentioned in the previous item) are executed by IA process andmethodology.
3-Coordinate with all IA Departmentsto maintain IA charter, policy, procedures, methodology, standards,audit programs, KPIs,
4-Assess theeffectiveness of the internal control environment for specificareas of various types of engagements (assurance, advisory, orspecial review). Use effective and efficient methods by constantlybenchmarking against best practices, developing a basis for a dataanalytics approach, utilizing technology, and updating IAstandards.
5-Manage and develop the annual auditplan and risk ranking for the auditableentities.
6-Review, apply, and uphold the Rulesof Conduct (Integrity, Objectivity, Confidentiality, andCompetency) as per the IIA/IPPFrequirements.
IIA: The Institute of InternalAuditors. IPPF: International Professional PracticesFramework.
7-Assist the Audit Expertise Center(AEC) and other Jurisdictions in the course of their work and auditactivities,
such as identifying themes,conducting follow-up work on audit findings, participating ininitiativesand
8-Coachingnewer staff or staff still learning the work process/businessactivities as part of Continuous Professional Development programsfor the IA staff competencies.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEREQUIREMENTS :
•Engineering Bachelor Degree (minimum)
•MBA desired
• Professionalaudit-relevant certification (e.g. CIA, ) ispreferred
• Over 10 to 15years' experience in the field in large/globalcompanies
• Prior experience, 4 years ininternal/external audit
• Priorexperience, 3 years in Audit Team Lead
