INTRO
Are you ready to disrupt the world of home furnishing and join a fast-growing startup in the Middle East?

MAKAN is a start-up reinventing the home furnishing experience and making it pleasant, easy, and convenient.

We offer 2 key services to our customers:
After a successful launch in 2021, MAKAN furnished 1000 homes, got backed by an exceptional pool of investors, and we are hiring a solid team to accelerate our developmen

Kurtains was launched in January 2023, and has been on a rapid growth path installing over 6000 curtains in over 2500 homes

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will join a growing team in the most promising start-up in its sector

Alongside Adrian, Othmane and Youssef, former managers in consulting and Amazon, you will play an important role in setting up in-house production and installation capabilities for Kurtains and driving operations.

Your responsibilities will be:

Define, monitor and optimize KPIs for curtains installation. Leverage data to drive efficiency, build and execute scalable processes, and continually ramp up operations.
Hire/lead/mentor and motivate a team of talented, highpotential employees to achieve productivity and engagement in our operations department.

- 'Develop relationships with suppliers and other players in the sector to ensure strong partnerships and a robust state of the art operating model.

Plan and monitor daytoday running of business, processes execution, escalations, and customers satisfaction.
Support in growth initiatives by executing operational plans and strategies to foster business expansion.

REQUIREMENTS

At least 5 years of experience in fastpaced clientfacing operations preferably in manufacturing or home services.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English: at MAKAN client is king, we are looking for someone very patient with clients, that can always find a solution that makes them happy.
Strong people management capabilities and ability to manage a onground team with a wide range of individuals.
An objectivedriven mindset: you are ready to execute multiple processes efficiently to achieve strategic business goals and objectives. At MAKAN we recognize and promote talent
Strong analytical skills, detailoriented and organized.
Proficient in data analysis using Excel or Google workspace tools.
Effective decisionmaking skills and selfstarter attitude with initiative and drive, capable of executing rapidly with limited strategic direction.
UAE driving license is mandatory
