Job Role:


  • Selecting, developing, ordering, cataloguing of Library resources and liaising with School Librarians
  • Keeping up to date with new releases to be able to recommend books to School Librarians
  • Develop rapport and good working relationship with Publishers and School Librarians
  • Assisting with author visits, book fairs, other events for School Librarians to promote the use of library and reading culture

Skills Required:

  • Good level of knowledge of text books (UK, US ,IB curriculum) and well informed on learning resources
  • Good level of knowledge of Current library information technologies like MARC, Dewey Decimal system
  • Strong written and spoken English skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)

Qualifications & Experience Required:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Library and information science
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position, ideally in an educational setting

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
