Essential Duties AndResponsibilities

• Install and configure network andinternet systems.
• Monitor and troubleshootnetwork and internet systems.
• Implementconfiguration changes on network components routers, switches,access points.
• Install new software/firmware,perform system upgrades, and conduct generalmaintenance.
• Drive Continual ServiceImprovement through the evaluation of system errors andinefficiencies.
• Lead project implementation andcorrective actions for operationalstability.
• Document infrastructureenvironments, processes, procedures, test plans, and projectplans.
• Provide operational support for internalcustomers on varying support issues.
• Ensurecompliance with security policies, procedures, andstandards.
• Contribute to the development andresponse of business continuity and disaster recovery plans,maintaining current knowledge of planexecutables.
• Manage capacity to ensure systemstability and oversee backup and recoveryprocesses.
• Lead projects associated with therole and other initiatives or duties as requested.

QualificationRequirements

• Associatesdegree from an accredited university or 3 years of job-relatedexperience.
• Prior experience in a medium tolarge environment (greater than 5 locations and 500+employees).
• Minimum 3 years of relevantOperating System experience for IOS, Nexus OS, Aruba OS, Windows,Linux.
• In-depth knowledge of IPv4/6, BGP,EIGRP, OSPF, RIP, STP, VTP, QOS, 802.1X, PKI, and the OSIModel.
• In-depth knowledge of Next GenerationFirewall and Remote Access/VPNmethodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Nagios,Solarwinds, Wireshark, TCPdump, Syslog, Cisco Prime, andVisio.
• Strong problem-solving and reasoningskills.
• Good communication, writing, andediting skills to transfer information to individuals involved inthe development process.
• Preferred One or morecertifications including Network +, CCNA,CCNP.
